    Hi,

I couldn’t find any related posts for help, so I’m creating a new one. Recently, my website was infected with malware, which also generated around 5000 spam posts (mainly about betting). I deleted all those posts, cleaned up WordPress, and ensured that the site is now free of malware.

However, when I try to create a new post in the default language and then publish it, I encounter an issue when adding a translation. After clicking to add the translation, the new post syncs with an old, unrelated post.

I currently have around 2000 posts, so unlinking and manually re-syncing each post would take an excessive amount of time.

Is there any solution to fix this problem efficiently?

    Many thanks!

  • Hello,

I recently noticed a similar issue on my site using the Polylang plug-in. Was the malware related to Polylang at all? It seems to have generated over 62,000 posts on my site….
