Polylang Pro : Translated pages show 404 error with last Yoast update

    After update the Yoast plugin to v21.6 (from v21.5) on our of our multilanguage sites today, we saw that all translated pages using the Polylang Pro plugin now fail to load page content with a 404 error. Disabling the Yoast plugin restores the Pages translated by Polylang Pro to working condition.

    This could be an edge case, as we have a number of other sites with Polylang installed where the translated pages do still seem to work okay.

    Could there be a conflict with the latest version of Yoast that could cause problems with Polylang translated page content output?

    Actually, the issue appeared to be a third plugin “MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress” that was causing a conflict when WordFence was used in conjunction with Yoast SEO. Updating that third plugin resolves the issue.
