• Hi,
I would like to report again an issue I also have on my website.
I noticed that the issue has been reported by others users many times within this forum but no working and permanent fixes have been found.

    In exemple here
    or here
someone wrote about the same problem..
    and also in others topics

In my case I also noticed

    • The bug occours in Chrome, Opera and in some Android Chrome.
    • with Firefox and Explorer it works
    • The “recognize Browser Language” does’not solve it
    • Test in localhost (PHP version: 7.2.10) does not detected any issue.
    • SSL connection (as I’ve read in many replies) doesn’t seem to be an obstacle. I have different behaviours with same connection and different browser.
    • It seems to be a magic type of caching. Deleting the 2nd lang home page, it persist to be in the browsers mentiones above. Even if I clear the cache client side and server side.
    • for some reason the bug disappears and appears randomly

Is there a permanent solution finally about this issue?

    Thanks in advance

  • It’s my impression, too, that this issue has something to do with some “magic type of caching”. I have tried to find out, where the cache of Polylang is but I failed. Has anyone an idea where this cache is stored? Maybe this could solve the problem.

    Thanks in andvance!
