Polylang – spam link from search engine

  • Hi,
    i used Polylang from many years.
    Some days ago I saw from an searching activity that one of my domain strengly after the clic over the link on google or yahoo search it will redirect the user not to my website but to ” euro-pharm247.com ” a spamming link.
    How ca be possibile?
    Worpress and all plugins are updated to the latest versions.

    I’m the only one?!

  • Same thing happened on my site. One contact page has spam link indexed on the google. Site is working normally.

    HEY I found the source of problem now. It is joomla site .You must change all the passwords. It looks like ftp pass was compromised and they put 3 files from their own in different folders and changed one core joomla file. I found connection in ftp log from strange IP adress, and in log was which file,when and where are inserted. I delete them, then I delete core joomla file and site went down. Then I replace that file with file from backup and VOILA. Everything works perfect and google confirmed it. File names which inserted are adapterobserver.php, powervalve.php and series.php. Joomla core file is loader.php which I deleted and change with same file from backup. Hope, I help You. Cheers.
