Polylang Switcher not working in the Divi Footer Menu?

  • We want to show the language switcher as a drop down in the footer menu of our Divi theme, but it doesn’t work? It works in the very top menu (secondary menu) as a dropdown very well, but some reason it doesn’t work in the footer.

    There is no ‘dropdown’ effect / option if we use the footer menu option. Options to enable both are found in:

    Appearance > Menus

    We are using the latest version of DIVI theme, Polylang and WordPress.

    Any help would be very much appreciated.
