• Hi,

is it a bug coming from some other plugin, or yours: when using with Polylang, set the taxonomy to be translatable, create the translation, both brands (two languages) can be viewed.

Then when it is in the second language it is OK to switch to the default one; HOWEVER when switching from the default to the second, it goes to the home page (i.e. doesn’t detect there is a translation).

I.e. have you tested it with Polylang?

Question 2: where it is set what URL to use for the breadcrumbs (“Brands”), is it hardcoded or can be set (same apply when trying to “translate” the slug used for the URL of brands).

  • Hi @dingdang ,

1.) I’m very sorry about this inconvenience, this has been reported to us, and our developers are working actively to improve the plugins’ integration with translation plugins such as PolyLang.

2.) Breadcrumbs are all set from the theme you are using, please try to double-check this with your theme’s support.

Let me know if you have other questions and I’ll be glad to help.??

Do you have any ETA for a fix, or if it is not soon any info that you have that causes this would be helpful, so I fix it myself instead of digging in your plugin. Thanks

    Hi @dingdang ,

We currently don’t have a rough estimate on when the fix will be applied. I followed it up to them, and created an official and separate escalation for the Brands plugin.

I hope for your kind understanding regarding this.
