Polylang website/blog bug?
-
Hello,
I created a website with wordpress (let’s say abc.com) and polylang:
German: abc.com
English: abc.com/enNow I wanted to add a blog at
German: abc.com/blog
English: abc.com/en/blog
and therefore I created a page called “blog”.However, this does not work since wordpress does not allow the same slug for multiple pages. As far as I know polylang pro has a solution for this.
Is even a general blog site like that not supported with polylang free? Or is there any way to configure the page as blog, like for the main page (home) polylang free does work as well (both called “home”).I just wanted to make sure that I don’t do anything wrong – even if this is understandable for ordinary pages, forcing the user to use urls like “abc.com/en/blog-en” for the fundamental functionality of wordpress (a blog) can’t be real!? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks a lot.
Andreas
