• 1) I have installed Polylang WP plugin on my website and added the language switcher in the menu (Displays language names). Now it is showing both language names AND the flag dropdown. I would like to remove/hide the flag dropdown and only show language names – how can I do this?

    2) Also, I have added some icons in my menu by using “<i class=”icon-home”></i> Home” in the “Navigation label” field. Is there any way I can add an icon next to the language names? There are no field called the “Navigation label” under the language switcher.

    Hope somebody can help.

Note: my menu is to the left.

    Hello,

The language switcher in the menu is controlled by Polylang. The flag dropdown is controlled by your theme which detected that Polylang is active. So you should ask your theme support how to remove the flag dropdown. Your other question is also theme related.

Hi, thank you. The theme support gave me this reply: “Sorry, but we did not test this script/plugin with the theme. Our policy states that we do not support third party plugins or custom code so unfortunately, we cannot be of any help to you.” (BeTheme)

You don’t have any suggestion on how to remove til flag dropdown?

Hi, i had the same problem. You must open the Extra Page (Header and Subtitle), ex: In admin > BeTheme > Theme Options > Header and Subtitle > Extra. Scrolling the page until the option: WPML Style of Switcher, select hide.

    I hope I’ve helped
