po/mo location drives me crazy

    Hi,

    I need to change some texts in my german install which has a theme called replete from kriesi.
    due it’s lousy implementation of the checkout page I also added the plugin WooCommerce Germanized to get a better representation of the checkout fileds.

    I’ve been reading through all of the woocommerce-de related docs, checked woothemes docs for translation etc etc.
    Since codestyling-localization does not work at all with woocommerce I installed poedit locally and chenged there some of the texts and tried to upload them to
    wp-content/languages or
    /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/languages/
    /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/
    /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/informal
    filename is always woocommerce-de_DE.mo and …po

    what I’m doing wrong to get the *%§$* working?

  • I have the same problem. Different theme but a lot of the terms are not translated. Tried poedit as well but wherever I upload the files to, nothing seems to work.

    Any news yet? Have you managed to identify the path and solve the issue?
