Ill-considered, unnecessarily difficult, intrusive, and performance-eroding

  • The forum mods censored my first review, so I’ll make it short: Unless you simply don’t want to blog using WordPress, aren’t concerned about the security issues of the React library and REST API, are comfortable completely rethinking your workflow (and doing so over and over again as the developers try out their latest whims), have plentiful server resources so Gutenberg’s enormous resource use doesn’t make editing impossible, AND are prepared to have significant portions of your site (like Widgets) abruptly become unusable after a WordPress update, steer well clear.
