Poor performance

  • I found this plugin on a Woocommerce shop that came to me with a huge performance issue. The homepage was loading in 10 seconds, the shop page took more than 20 seconds to load, and the same for a single product page. Even the WP Dashboard was slow. I just deactivated it and now it works fast as it supposed to be.

    Please review that because is embarrassing that such a company as Facebook has created this.

    I’m sorry to hear that you had performance issue when using Facebook for WooCommerce.

    I can’t replicate the slowness on my end, so I’d recommend some basic troubleshooting steps:

    • make sure your plugin is up to date with the current version, as well as using updated WooCommerce and WordPress versions
    • check for browser console errors in case of a code conflict
    • perform a conflict test by disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce as well as switching theme to Storefront. Full instructions
