Poor slider photo quality

It looks like the slideshow is at 1920px x 400px but your images are at 1460px x 304px. What do you have set for the slideshow size? Perhaps under “advanced settings” you need to turn off 100% width?

If in English, you would see “Cropping” there in that first screenshot. If you want to handle the cropping yourself, you can disable that setting and we use the image directly from WP. Does that fix the issue?

At the exit of the slider, I want to get a clear picture (turning on and off the “Cropping images” does not increase the clarity of the picture)

There must be another plugin manipulating the images then. In this case it looks like it’s JetPack. Can you disable that and check?

I believe there are better options than JetPack out there, but I know JetPack is popular so I will work on a fix for this now for the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It depends. JetPack does some things well and others less well. If you want image lazy loading, you could try LazyLoad by WP Rocket. I just tested it out locally and it’s compatible.

If you need a CDN then I’m not 100% sure. I’ve seen people set up CloudFlare to auto handle their images and that seems to work. I personally have not tried it though.

Can you enable Jetpack again on your site? Can you also send a screenshot of the top section of the settings area?

I’ve set it up on a development server and it seem to be working for me as far as I can tell.

Apologies, I meant the top of the MetaSlider settings. I’d like to see what you have for the crop dimensions. Thanks for your help.
