• I have to edit my first rating and give the well deserved 5 stars to this plugin.
    After the update to 3.1.4, it’s almost perfect.
    I still encountered few small hiccups, which cannot be a reason for a bad rating:
    1) Depending on the landing page choice, the link in the header does not always take you to the landing page (home), instead it stays on the page you are on (easy to test)
    2) One of my websites crushed while installing “Smallicons”, which might be a coincidence though. (I’m afraid to test it again)

    I think something went wrong with your upgrade, because that’s definitely not what should happen!

    I updated three of my websites, on different servers.
    All updates went wrong.
    I had to downgrade one of them and switch off the plugin on the other two.
    I don’t know how can I help you.

    Well, I’m sorry if my review is harming the image of the plugin, but BraveNewCode should turn their nice face to the free version users.
    I felt quite neglected as user of the free version in their website.
    Furthermore the support section of the website doesn’t really give me the opportunity to ask for help.

    I was expecting to get help from their website, not from www.ads-software.com
    I didn’t even see that there is “support” tab on the plugin page.
    Sorry!

    It’s really hard for us to help people without:

    • Being courteous and respectful in asking for help with a free plugin;
    • Details about what’s not working;
    • A willingness to work with us to find answers to problems

    We’ve been providing great free plugins for WordPress users for over a half-decade. 1-star reviews like this are difficult to swallow… especially on a friday!

    BraveNewCode Inc., usually I’m not such an QUACKQUACKQUACK, but if a plugin is broken on three websites, it doesn’t deserve more stars.
    In my case the things are so fckng wrong that the plugin doesn’t even deserve a star.

    As a person, You deserve more than 5 stars, but I rated your plugin, not you.
    And I said that I’m willing to help find the problem, and left my email few comments up.

    We’ll need details about what went wrong— screenshots, error messages in the debug log etc. to diagnose and solve the issues.

    Its quite strange for three sites to be affected and be ‘not working’ at all. The latest version has had over 50,000 downloads in the past week, most of which have been working fine for users.

    So I’m confident we’ll find your issue and solve it.

    OK, I thought that for a problem like this one you’d like to personally see the websites as an admin.

    Last night I was preparing for post in the support section, but this morning after the update, WPtouch 3.1.4 works fine on all my website.
    (The problem persisted up to version 3.1.3)
    I have the screenshots of the problem, so if the WPTouch team wants them I can provide.

    Thanks truden! Glad you worked with us to sort things out. We’re looking at the small icons issue, it might be due to the icons being a little hefty in terms of file size.
