Poor user experience, no support
-
Aftership and Postmen are a shopify thing. A small effort has been made to bring them to WP/Woo but after 5 hours my experience with the integration, customer experience (mine and my end users), and their support (none) have left me shaking my head.
There are conflicts between their new site and old site (where you have to do the work of printing labels, etc), store needs to be manually synced every few minutes instead of automatic syncing, api does not signal woo to import tracking #’s, change order status, add note to order, email customer, etc… all basic functions that are supposed to work. If you add that tracking # manually from Postmen to your woo order page, there’s very basic woo email integration with no ability to adjust the html, and the tracking # shows on email with no link or button to actually track, then in My Account > Orders > View there’s a yellow (branded) tracking button that takes you to a generic tracking page with a box that the customer still needs to populate with the tracking #??
C’mon guys, pull this until it’s ready. And where do I send the bill for my 5 hours?
