Pop out colour picker?

My site, selling paint needs many variations of colour for each product (over 100) I am familiar with the Colour and Swatches plugin that displays variations in thumbnails, but there are simply too many to put in the space on the product page. Is there a way to display these swatches as a pop out such as a lightbox that users can select from?
