pop up crazy

  • I didn’t stay to try the plugin as the number of popups at the start really put me off, security updates pop up and then when I went to answer the first section which platforms do you want to show I was asked 3 different pop up questions – not about anything of relevant to what I was doing right there and then I was asked to review the plugin – I had not had it installed for 30s! So deactivated and remove, please look at downgrading your popup questions far too in my face right at the start

    Thanks Sarah for your feedback – we are struggling to understand which pop-ups you are referring to. Could you PLEASE provide a screenshot, so that we can investigate what’s going on?

    to be honest I don’t want to reinstall as used another one – but if you install on a new set up – as soon as activated you are asked to keep up to date for security issues and also small demographic data – which I skipped. I then went into the set up and you say you only need to answer the 3 first questions. On the first question I deselected EMAIL as I didn’t want “share to email” and straight away a pop up appeared saying – are you sure? and then one that said if you have a newsletter than you wouldn’t want this share icon anyway (well duh? I was disabling it) and then the next one popped up and said something like if you are that mean not getting our newsletters then please at least review us? So they made no sense at all!

    Ok I see what you mean. Yes, those only come when you de-select the email icon. They’re gone after a few clicks. I’m sure you would have enjoyed the plugin if you had clicked them away. Maybe you can give it a try next time.

    You sound like a decent person – but your plugin gave a very different feel.. the pops ups were 4 within the first few seconds and at least 2 of them made no sense at all, gave the impression that every time I logged in you’d have a new pop up for me.. or banners would appear in admin area and it would be an “in your face” plugin – I don’t want that

    I’d certainly reconsider is all – and see it from the users side
