I have the pop up plugin configured to display when a post with a certain category is opened. I have adjusted the settings so that the popup only displays on the post itself and not in the news section or other listing. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to prevent it from displaying on a search results page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ntoscano50. The search page should be treated as a archives page. Please try that

    Hi Damian,

I already have enabled that. See below for the pop up rules I have enabled:

    1. Post Category — is equal to — Employee Benefits
    2. Post Type — is not equal to — post
    3. Page Type — is not equal to — Category Page
    4. Page Type — is not equal to — Archives Page

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

And all those rules are added as a group ? or multiple groups? using AND or OR makes a difference.

They are all in one group using AND. See below:

    Rule Group:
    1. Post Category — is equal to — Employee Benefits — and
    2. Post Type — is not equal to — post — and
    3. Page Type — is not equal to — Category Page — and
    4. Page Type — is not equal to — Archives Page — and

Your search page is using search.php or it’s a normal page where you load search results using a theme feature? If it’s a static page you can say page is not equal to PAGENAME or something like that

It’s a normal WP search page where results are loaded using a theme feature.

It’s a WP search feature with a URL like the following:

    https://www.example.com/?s=SEARCH%20TERM&submit.x=0&submit.y=0

Im adding search page as a different page type on next release. You can grab develop branch in Github if you don’t want to wait.
    Sorry for delay

Thanks, Damian. Do you have an estimated release time for the next version?
