Pop-up & In Navbar?

    Ajay,

    Is it possible to have the results display via a pop-up? Short of that the results are displaying in a way that pushes by sidebars all the way down the page past the search results no matter what settings I use. Can I get it to display without that happening?

    Lastly I’d like to get the search going without using the sidebar widget and instead calling it from my navbar in the header. Is that possible that you’re aware of?

    Regarding the search, it can work through absolutely any search form. It works via /search/ or ?search=

    Regarding your second point. I don’t understand what you mean by “display results via pop-up”

    Regarding the results causing formatting issues, unfortunately, you’ll need to create a template in your theme to create the search page. It’s the best option to control the look.
