pop-up is hidden by menu bar

I’m using the Gallery-content view. Every time I click on the magnefying glass, the popup loads but is partially hidden by the menu bar. I can’t “X” out of the pop-up because it is hidden. How do I fix this? The scroll bar also does not work. Thank you for your help!
