Pop-up not working
-
Hi,
I have created a pop-up, but it is not showing on my website.
I currently have another pop-up working, and that is showing on its assigned page.
This new pop-up works when I, myself view it on the relevant page but does not work for anyone else, such as my colleagues. Why is this?
The have cleared cache and viewed it incognito, and still isn’t working

Hi @jackhfg,
I’m afraid, it’s tough to say without knowing the current popup settings configured to say what might be causing it. However, it sounds like the popup is only supposed to display on specific pages. Could we know do you notice any difference if you temporarily remove the visibility rules added?
This would give a better idea and helps to rule out whether it’s due to a setting in visibility rule.
Could also please share an export of the popup which isn’t working, so that we could import it into our test site and see what might be causing it too?
You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any such cloud services in the next reply so that we could check further.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Nithin`Hi there,
So I removed all visibility settings so that it would display on every page, and it still did not work.
Here are the exported settings:

Hi @jackhfg,
Thanks for sharing the popup export. I just gave a quick check by removing the visibility rules and it worked out of the box in my test site.
I also tested with the Visibility rules that you had in the form and the popup still worked without any issue.
It’s odd that only this popup is having issues on your website and the rest of the popup works fine.
However, since the same popup works out of the box on our side, I’m afraid this still seems more of a site-specific issue.
Could you please try running a conflict test and see whether that helps in determining the source of the issue?
Please check the following flowchart on how to run a conflict:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gifPlease do let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
NithinThank-you Nithin,
I can now see it is working, however I am having a new issue with this pop-up.
I have selected my Typography font family in appearance, however it is not changing to this when I preview or publish the pop-up. The font family selected is ‘Roboto’ however this is not what is appearing on the pop-up. This has now happened on all of my other pop-ups and embeds too. Please see screenshots – https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19OCof-5fQ06L7YVe2L8pK6fxFEfgfZEa?usp=sharing
Can you please advise why this is now happening
Hi @jackhfg
Is it possible to send or add on the shared drive the website URL and we can check the source code of PopUp and Embeds to find why it isn’t applying the Roboto?
Best Regards
Patrick FreitaHi Patrick,
I have put the links in a google doc on the drive – https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hqmBjXCACR3Y7Znisqz5_kOJW2Q7jAEpJO1uBRlcTG8/edit?usp=sharing
Thanks,
Hi @jackhfg,
I could notice the font does get called in the website side:
But it isn’t showing up in the popup. Seems like the website has minify/cache plugin. I suppose it’s the WP-Optimize plugin? This might be more due to minification.
Could we know did you try clearing the cache and minification to ensure the issue wasn’t due to that? Maybe you could quickly check by temporarily deactivating the plugin to see whether it makes any difference or not too.
Please do let us know how that goes so that we could check further if needed. Have a nice day ahead.
Best Regards,
NithinHi Nithin,
I deactivated the plugin and it did fix most of the embeds and pop-ups, thanks for that.
There is just one embed, the does not seem to have changed over to the font – https://www.healthfirstgroup.com.au/services/ndis/
How would I clear the cache and modification?
Thanks
Hi @jackhfg
Could you send a screenshot of how you see it?
I checked using the CSS overview and it does point to the font as Roboto:

Patrick FreitasHi Patrick,
It is the text in the main content that is not showing as Roboto:

Thanks,
Hi @jackhfg,
On further checking the source code of the page, I was able to notice the main content of the embed is placed between code blocks. I am afraid, this is why the font change is not being applied on the mentioned embed.
Please try adding the following CSS at WP Dashboard >> Apperance >> Customiser >> Additional CSS
I hope that helps.

Patrick FreitasHi Patrick,
I tried to add the CSS code as per above, and also into my theme style settings, which did not work.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Hey I am using hustle auto email. Sometimes I am getting email and sometimes nothing.
Hi @jackhfg,
I checked this at my end and confirmed the CSS is working as expected, please check the following screenshot from the end: https://ibb.co/rxBbD8B
Can you please clear the browser cache or check from a private window and see if the issue still persists at your end?
@vaxoofficial Please open a separate ticket of your own so that we can help you with the issue.
Best Regards,
Nebu John
