Pop up not working on page

    Hi, I just installed your plugin on my site and I cannot make it work. I’ve created an image that is supposed to be displayed on the homepage only, and followed your instructions but nothing is showing up.

    I’m not sure if this is an issue with the theme that I am currently using. When I do the preview of the pop up, it looks fine. I’ve selected the Homepage only for display but when I check on the site, nothing is happening.

    Should I use a shortcode on my homepage? I used the shortcode below to test it out (per your instructions):

    [popup id=The-Pop-Up-Name size=”small”]Put your content and other [shortcodes] here.[/modal]

    But I only see this:

    [/modal]

    on the homepage and nothing else. The popup does not show anywhere.

    @yoyotina – The popup is loaded, but you haven’t enabled auto open or added the popmake-1435 class to anything to make it click open.

    If you want it to open automatically check the settings and enable the Auto Open checkbox and configure the settings there.

    Let me know if you have any further trouble.

    Thanks for your quick response! I clicked on the setting for the Auto Open as suggested, and I’ve updated this but nothing shows on the homepage. I’m still having the same issue.

    I want to banner to show as soon as you go to the website, and not have the user click on a button or something to have it come up. I’m not sure I am doing this correctly.

    @yoyotina – Ok so now your popup is getting triggered but your theme uses an extremely high z-index( layer where the content/images are shown ). Edit your popup and under “Display Settings” change the overlay and Popup z-index to be

    Overlay: 99999998
    Popup : 99999999

    That should resolve it for you.

    Hi @danieliser.

    I have an additional question. I noticed that once you click on “Close” in the banner, and you open the website again, the banner won’t show up anymore on the homepage. Is there something additional that I need to do so that you always see the banner when you check the site?

    @yoyotina – Check your auto open cookie settings. Trigger determines when/if a cookie is set, time determines how long it is set for “1 day” for instance etc.
