Pop up share empty sometimes

    Hello
    I have a couple of issues with this and was hoping for some advice please.

    I am using 3 social media buttons in my header.php template to share my website to fb, google+ and twitter. When hovering over the icons a popup appears saying “share”. The issue is that this “share” text only appears sometimes, the rest of the time the popup is empty. Is there a way I can make it show everytime without fail when hovered over? At the moment it seems to be a bit hit and miss. Also the buttons themselves (not the popup “shares”) are clickable but take user to new empty tab. This only occurs when the popup with “share” is empty.

    The other issue relating to the first is.. Can I not have the popups running at all but rather just have the buttons which when clicked share website appropriate social media. No hovering to make popup share.
