    Dear @doubleozone,

    Thank you for the topic.

As can be understood, you have set the value as 5 for the Display once per session option.

Please note, that if you want to show the popup only once for each user, you need to set 0 for the Display once per session option to disable it.

    Please let me explain this.

You either need to enable the Display popup once per user option to display the popup once per visitor.
Or, set 5 for the Display once per session option, to define the interval between the popup sessions in minutes.

I mean, if you want to show the popup only once for the user, setting 5 for the “Display once per session” option doesn’t make sense anymore.

Hi, Thank you for the reply, however, this is not exactly what I was looking for, I just need to display this popup once for a single non-logged in user, However, if you check this website – https://outstanding-nutrition.com/ if you wait 5 seconds in the homepage you will get the popup, Then after you visited some other page and come back to the homepage and wait 5 seconds, You will get the popup again, So that’s the issue. Thank you

    Dear @doubleozone,

    Thank you for your reply.

Please go to the Popups > particular popup > Settings tab and take the screenshot of this tab.

Then, provide us with these screenshots so that we can check the configuration of its settings and guide you in this regard.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thank you.

    Dear @doubleozone,

    Thank you for the topic.

We have checked the screenshots you have provided us with.
However, not all the settings were included in it.
So, please double-check the screenshots and provide us with all the options of the Settings tab for further investigation.

By the way, in case you are currently using a Cache plugin, please note, that the issue may be connected with the cache as well.

So, firstly, please make a DB backup for your safety (you can use Updraft Plus).

Then, clear all the caches and let us know whether the issue persists or not.

Besides this, please, make sure the webpage where the given popup is located does not become static(HTML).
Check whether deactivate PHP cache is ticked from the settings of the cache plugin or not.
If yes, then please deactivate it.

Please check this and let us know about the outcome.

    Thank you.

    Dear @doubleozone,

    Thank you for your reply.

We have checked the screenshots you have provided us with.

As we have already mentioned above, the problem comes from the fact that you have set 5 for the Display once per session option and simultaneously enabled the Display popup once per user option.
Please note, that in case of this kind of configuration of settings, these two options (“Display once per session” and “Display popup once per user”) can’t logically work together.

    Please let me explain this.
When you set a value other than 0 for the “Display once per session” option, that means, the popup will be opened each time within that particular period of time.
Since you have also enabled the “Display popup once per user option, these two options consequentially don’t work together.

So, for now, either set 0 for the Display once per session option so that the “Display popup once per user” option can normally work for the popup.
Or leave the 5 value for the Display once per session option, and disable the “Display popup once per user” option to achieve your desired result.

    Thank you.
