Pop Up Showing Extra Things, Just Like a Post!

Could you please tell me what extra things are getting displayed in it?

Try using different PopUp Loading Method from the following path.

Admin Area -> PopUp -> Settings

Oh, I just disabled it.
Enabled again.
It showing contests from other plugin, like SEO search terms, some bars like black space of google ads etc.

Have you tried changing your pop up loading method?

You can also hide the unwanted text from the pop up by adding the following CSS code in the style.css file of your child theme or add it in your site using the following plugin.

.wdpu-content .adsbygoogle,
.wdpu-content hr {
display: none !important;
}

I’ve tried all methods but results are same.
After adding above css, the google ads contest not showing but it still showing contests from plugin SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/searchterms-tagging-2/).
You can see line starting from “What People Searching For”.

The above text is hooked with the_content and injected in every post. As popup is a custom post type, so that part is added in there too.

Do you know if you are using any plugin to add this content? Or something in functions.php?

Yes, SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/searchterms-tagging-2/) plugin adding this.

Hope you’re well today! That SEO plugin is quite old now, hasn’t been updated in a while. And the issue could just be that it’s not been updated to handle custom post types or provide an option not to insert into post type content such as the PopUp’s content.

Did you need that plugin?

If that’s all that’s adding content to the PopUp, then deactivating it should sort this.

Could you let us know?

Yes, this SEO plugin is important for me and I can’t deactivate it.

I have tested on my test site using latest version of “SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2” plugin and Twenty Thirteen theme but couldn’t reproduce the issue that you are facing.

Is the issue only happening with the theme that you are using and not with the default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen?

Could you please share us the screenshots of the settings of “SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2” plugin that you have configured on your site so that i can configure it the same way on my site to reproduce the issue?

The search terms will only visible in pop up if the post have “What People Searching For” at end, like this post: https://www.readforgreed.com/get-free-sample-of-lotus-herbals-safe-sun-cream/

And it’ll not show this in pop up if the post don’t have any search term at end, like this-
https://www.readforgreed.com/get-usb-light-for-laptop-pc-notebooks-only-at-price-rs-49/

Search will be adding in a post only when a user search in search engine and come to site.

I tried to reproduce the issue using the same configuration that you have but couldn’t reproduce the issue yet.

Have you tried temporary using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen to know whether the issue only happening with the theme that you are using?
