• I have the SpeakUp Petition widget on the homepage of my website, underneath slideshow on the right side bar. When I click “Sign Now”, the petition form that pops up gets covered by the slider in the back. I tried changing z-index here (wp-content/plugins/speakup-email-petitions/css/widget.css) but it did not work. How can I fix this? I’m using the slideshow that comes with WordPress after I download the Churchope theme. Slider is in JQuery.

Can’t see your site, but the only likely solution is to set the z-index of the thing you want on top to be the higher number. You might try fiddling with the slider’s z-index in your theme.

    Hi wasi2121,

Did you find the solution yet?

I have similar problem since Im using the same theme.

I already checked the slider z-index using firebug, and it is 18 while the speakup popup at 200000…

By the way, the normal shortcode petition popup is ok(the one where you click Read the Petition and popup appear) and I cant find any z-index for that…
