Popout Pagelist in Sidebar

  • I was wondering how I go about implementing a CSS/Javascript menu in my sidebar which lists the Parent pages and on mouseover/hover, lists the child pages.

    Eg:

    About
    Events
    Gallery

    Then when we hover over an item, displays child pages.

    About
    …About X
    …About Y
    …About Z
    Events
    Gallery

    I have seen some themes do this in the vertical navbar, but I’d prefer to be able to do this in my sidebar. Also, the ability to exclude some parent pages would be great as well.
