    is there a way to create a popular posts list by catergory?

    so say i had a football website

    i might want the most popular posts in the football trials catergory within the post if someone is reading an article that is in the football trials catergory

    so like i might have “read more in football trials”

    or if the catergory is “football clothing” and someone is reading an article “can football boots give you blisters” or something it would be “popular posts in football clothing” or “read more in football clothing”

    you get the idea

    ok i managed to create 2 widgets one for football shirts and one for football boots.

    i watched the video and used the id for the catergories.

    how do i insert shortcode into my post and how do i know which one is which?

    do the widgets themselves have a id?

    so is it something like [wpp id=1] or something like that

    ok so after a bit of searching it looks like possibly it would need to be something like

    [wpp cat=’3′]

    is that right?

    ok i’m getting the hang of this now.

    is there a way to not show views in shortcode?

    ok so i’ve got the shortcode working

    but i need to remove the views from being shown

    and also set it so it only shows articles published within the last 30 days

    Hi @johnzoro,

    Please check out the Parameters section of the wiki to learn which parameters can be used with the [wpp] shortcode (including, but not limited to, hiding the views count and telling WPP to fetch only posts published within the last 30 days).
