Popularity Contest 1.0

Hey Alex:

When I activate the plugin, and view my homepage, I get this error:
Table ‘mydatabase.wp_ak_popularity’ doesn’t exist

Do you know what would cause this?

Activating the plugin should create the table – make sure your database user has permission to create tables.

Is there a way to publish all that you see in the Dashboard for Popularity Contest in a Page in WP? (ie. /wp-admin/index.php?page=popularity-contest.php)

I’ve been trying to pull the code from the plugin but havent figured it out completely… Just wondering if it’s just simpler than that…

I would love to calculate popularity of posts by manual voting, such as a button for every post that says “Flag for ‘Best Of'”. Could you add manual voting to the popularity criteria?

I went through all the threads/posts and couldn’t find the answer. Is there a way to disable display of “Popularity x%” from displaying in every post? I just want the popularity numbers to be viewable by me or whenever I decide to add the numbers to the sidebar.

When I activate Popularity Contest, it works fine but it seems to mess up the inline uploader on the posting page. When you go to upload an image instead of repopulating the uploader with the browse tab, it shows a blank white area.

if you reload the posting page it shows that the image was actually uploading correctly.

Is there anyone that is having the same problem.

go there to check out what the feed validator says ?? maybe someone can give me a hint whats wrong…

I’ve activated version 1.2.1 on WP 2.0.4, but it’s only listing posts that have been visited, while I need it to list Pages as well. I know it’s supposed to count Pages, so I can’t figure out what’s up.

Any ideas?
