“popularity contest” doesn’t refresh anymore

hi,

i wonder if someone else recognzied a problem with the plugin “popularity contest”: that it doesn’t refresh anymore.
it seems to me that after changing the popularity values a few times it now stopped counting.
i wrote down the number of permalink views of some posts now, i cannot affect this number by loading the pages in different browsers at home.

is this a common thing ?
