Popularity Contest MAJOR issues

  • I am getting this all the time and dont know why, i have tried reinstalling and its not made any difference.

    MySQL server has gone away on line: 255

    it appears below the text entry when making a post, sometimes when viewing posts its shown on a white screen. Also when trying to upload images its shown on the popup also.

  • Yeah, I got the same problem. First just once, but a week later it hung my whole site AND the wp-admin. Had to deactivate all plugin’s, and didn’t dare to re-activate popularity-contest after. Works ok now.

    I’m using the Monezine theme w/ popularity-contest built in.
