populate-donor amount not working

  • Hi,

    I am using this tutorial Populate Donor Tutorial to get the populate donor to work and it seem to be working fine accept the amount when i write ?amount=42 on the url it does not update the info to the amount field it just leaves the default amount price. however when i have tried with first and last names and email they seem to be working just fine.

    This is what i have put on the url to test the amount hope i got it right
    websiteoffline.com/donations/basic-donation-field/?amount=42

    Did i miss something ???

    Can you provide your Javascript that you are using? I’d suggest using Gist for that if possible.

    I have tried the most recent update snippet from the library still no luck with the ?amount=46.00 not working what i don’t understand is how come other files like names and emails are working just fine?
