populate drop down fields

hello great plugin..
i am wondering if i could populate dropdown field with users already registered,
example:
want user while registering, to chose on of the user and the user which have been chosen displayed in the user-profile,
i found plugin called ultimate member relational fields which can do that (not all what i want ) still its doing the most, but this plugin is not updated any more,
since i am not familiar with coding and modification of the plugins,
is there any alternative plugin can do that,
or any codes that i can include so it would help with my issue
