Populate summary immediately on a new page (multipage forms)

    Hi, congratulations, I really like this plugin! The only thing I would change is the loading of the informations in multipage forms: currently, when I switch to a next page, the summary appears empty, only when I fill in one of the fields on the new page it shows everything. Would it be possible to show immediately all the informations already entered? Or is there a field we can insert to ask for the summary to be updated?

    Hi Nicola,

    Thank you for your message and kind words. I’m sorry that you are experiencing this problem. I will assist you to solve it. The problem you describe should actually not happen. Could it be that you don’t have ajax turned on for this form?

    To turn it on depends slightly on how you are adding the form to the page but either way it is very easy.

    • If you are using the shortcode method, all it would take is to add ajax=”true” so your shortcode would become: [gravityforms id=”1″ title=”false” description=”false” ajax=”true”]

    • If you are using the gutenberg block then you can simply check its settings and switch on ajax under advanced settings.

    Let me know if you are using any other way.

    If you do have ajax turned on and the problem still persist then it might be due to something else. Something I still would like to fix, so in that case, could you please sent me a link to the form in question please? Feel free to email me directly on [email protected]

    Hi Nicola,

    I am glad to let you know that I fixed this issue in the latest plugin update released just now. Make sure to update to version 1.1! After updating, you will have to remove your browser cache as some javascript changed so your browser will need to download the newest version of the code before you will see a difference.
