I have recently installed this plugin and love the functionality, however there is this popup that blocks part of my admin area. It’s asking me to configure my settings, but I have already done so. It scrolls with the content, making some clickable elements inaccessible unless I deactivate the plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

Those popups are built-in WordPress admin pointers and we just set one ourselves to point to where the plugin options menu is. Normally once you close it or you open WP External Links settings page it should go away. But another plugin or the theme could be affecting them and preventing them from working as they should. The pointer bubble itself seems semi-broken so it might also be some cache issue holding on to part of it. Try clearing any cache plugins/services as well as your browser cache or try in an incognito window.

    Otherwise I don’t have any ideas ??

@talextech Hi, can you add a close button to it or smth? Otherwise, I don’t understand how one could close it. thanks

It does have a close button normally, see screenshot https://prnt.sc/m-BqZagxvKWf

Whatever is messing with it removes that dismiss button as well.

I managed to get rid of it by going into troubleshooting mode using the Health Check plugin. When in troubleshoot mode, the dismiss button is there. Even after going back to normal mode, the popup was gone.
