Please make a change in your code for this:

Elementor needs to use .clone(true) instead of .clone() when it creates the popup. So that events are cloned too (not just the html).

No help needed, as I made a workaround, but a really simple fix on your part. Otherwise, when a user places a shortcode in the popup that requires, say, some JavaScript to have loaded, it won’t load.
