    Hi @veptune,

The popup displays the change log in the latest version.

The popup is closed when the user has necessary permsission to use shortcoder.

The permissions are set to administrator user on plugin activate. Can you please dectivate and activate the plugin again and see if it works?

    Thanks,

    Aakash

    Hello!

I have the same problem, I can’t close the window. I deactivated and reactivated the plugin, but the error is the same.

Update: Found the bug, I was an author not an admin. After changing the rights, everything works! Thanks!

    Hello.

The bug is still there.. it is not a permission problem. I’m logged as admin..

    Hi @veptune,

    My apologize for the inconvenience.

This is weird and I can’t guess of any reason . The plugin checks if the user is admin and has the permission to work with shortcoder plugin.

Reactivating the plugin will populate the permissions if not added.

Can you please perform the following steps for now?

    1. Install the plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-role-editor/
    2. Settings -> user role editor -> enable “Show Administrator role at User Role Editor”
    3. Users -> user role editor -> select “administrator”, and “shortcoder” on the left panel. Check if all the permissions are selected. Click update.

    1. Check if the popup closes now.
    2. Uninstall the “user roles editor” plugin.

    Hope this helps.
