    Hello @a90sdude

Thank you for reaching out, and we’re happy to assist you with your question.

As I understand, you want to show a popup on the first visit of a user on your site.

We think the Cookies will help achieve hiding the popup on the second visit of the user.

Cookies control the repeated display of the popup. On popup close, popup open, form submission etc., the popup will not show. It will show after the cookie time expires.

Here’s an example using cookies on the popup settings:

For more information, please refer to article:

    ‘Cookies’ option settings

We hope that helps. Please let us know how it goes, or if you have questions.

    Thank you!

    Hello Bel,

    Thank you for your help.
I think my question was not clear in the first time.

I’m not trying to show a popup on first visit but on first connection.

On my website you can only login after purchasing a product. And I would like to show a popup when the user login for the first time.

I will definitely read the documentation you gave me.

Hi @a90sdude, thanks for sending further clarification.

If you want a popup to appear once the user is logged in to the site, then you will need the help of our premium extension plugin.

You can achieve that using the Advanced Targeting Condition extension plugin. Check out this link: https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/advanced-targeting-conditions/

You will need to set a User Targeting Condition to (!) Is Logged In. This condition means, the popup will only be displayed once a user is logged in. Please see this documentation for more details, https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/238-advanced-targeting-conditions-user-conditions

    Hope that provides further insights.

    Have a great day! ??

    Hello Maria,

That’s awesome, thank you very much for your explanation.

Let me ask you the last question.
Is it possible to make this Target Condition (!) Is Logged In to show only once? And to make sure this popup is not showing anymore after 4-5 logged in and even more ?

    Have a great day too.

    Hello @a90sdude

Thank you for your reply, and clarification.

The (!) is the Negative Condition. This will tell the popup not to display on the selected targeting rule.

You can achieve your requirement with the following:

    • Cookies (to stop the popup from displaying after the logged-in user sees the popup)
    • Advanced Targeting Conditions – Is Logged In
    • WooCommerce Conditions – Is Endpoint
    • ‘AND’ operator

The Is Endpoint Conditions is for users that hits a certain stage within a WooCommerce site, WC refers to that as an endpoint. The following Popup Conditions will load popups only on these endpoints within WooCommerce.

While the ‘AND’ operator links two or more conditions together to require that each condition be true to load a popup. Stated another way, if any condition linked by an ‘AND’ operator is false, the popup will not load.

    Here’s an example popup settings.

Trigger: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQulEzdo (please increase the cookie time to desired time)
    Targeting: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQulEzd9

We hope that helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
