Popup for extensive checkboxes list

  • Hi! I’m very happy with this plugin, but I’m having troubles on this:

    I’d made a custom list of items, and I need for the user to select multiple instances via checkboxes. The problem is when showing the data, is way too long for it to be included in the visual theme, making very intrusive.

    Is there any way to pass this infinite-list onto a popup window, so the checkboxes can be multiple selected by a column format display?

  • Hi, not sure if you have solved this, what you are trying to achieve would require that you code custom javascript that would fire once the window is loaded.

    However, I can suggest an alternative way to solve your problem. Check the Post My CF7 Form plugin, it allows you to map your select/radio/checkbox list to a taxonomy and maintain your list in your dashboard. It also implements the jquery chosen plugin on select fields. The chosen jquery plugin solves the multi-select problem on long lists in a very elegant way.
