    popup id 139 forwards to
    [contact-form-7 id=”138″ title=”requestacall”]

when i preview form id 139, it comes right up no problem but from inside the CONTACT US popup, the request a call button doesn’t seem to find popup id 139 so it does not work.

    Here is the command… <button class=”popmake-139 reqq”> REQUEST A CALL</button>

all of the popups work fine individually but 139 will not come up from inside the first popup using the above html button command…i just can’t figure it out…HELP! any and all advise or suggestions would be much appreciated.

if you go to website and select “Overage Recovery Service” and then “CONTACT US” at top of page, you will see the REQUEST A CALL button that’s not working in lower left of popup. On the home page, you can select the same button directly and it works fine. you can also preview id 139 and it works fine.

Hi @ca8050 – sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.

I went ahead, accessed your site and followed the instructions that you have provided and it seems the popup inside the first popup is working as expected on my end. Watch this screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uPR600

Have you managed to sort this out?

If the issue still persists on your end, could you please try?purging/clearing all?caching plugin and browsers cache to see if that fixes the issue??Or,?you can try it in a different browser or in incognito mode as well to see if that makes any difference.?

Additionally, do you know of some server-side cache that you might have from your web hosting company? You can try to deactivate it temporarily to see if that makes any difference.

If that helps, then we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly?rate the plugin, just to help us spread the word.

Otherwise, for us to assist you further with your issue, you will need to escalate it directly to our HelpScout support desk. Check out this link:?https://wppopupmaker.com/support/?Thank you.

    thanks for your reply

i did all that you suggested and in order to correct the issue, i had to use the plugin WP Downgrade and change my wordpress version back to the most recent before 5.6. it seems there was a compatibility issue between wordpress 5.6 and popup maker…at least for my particular situation with the html button call.

Hello @ca8050, thanks for sending us further insights.

We are committed to helping you through this, but please come at this with the notion that it very well may not be Popup Maker as the root source of the issue.

Please be advised that the plugin was tested thoroughly, not only with WordPress 5.6, but also with the jQuery tester plugin that was released for WP 5.5. Our plugin worked with or without jQuery migrate, all the way from jQuery 1.12 -> jQuery 3 using the options that were recommended to test against. There is likely a conflict either from another plugin/theme or with a specific combination of popup settings/content.

Now, if you have decided to update the plugin to its latest version with the WordPress 5.6 version then I would now suggest you do it on a staging or dev site so that the live site will not be affected.

In case you’re still having issues please try the following sets of procedures below to narrow it down.

    ?Eliminate potential conflicts
    1. Install the Health Check plugin.
    2. Go to Plugins -> View All and click the Troubleshooting link for Popup Maker
    3. Retest to see if the issue remains.
    4. If it does move on to next section.
    5. If not, then activate your theme via the Troubleshooting admin bar menu item. Retest to check for conflicts.
    6. Activate other plugins until the issue comes back.
    7. The last plugin/theme activated before it breaks is where the conflict is originating.
    8. Report it to them and us.

Tracking down issues with specific setups.
    9. Does it work when logged in / logged out (eliminate cache issues)
    10. Mark all popups as draft and retest site.
    11. Check for JS errors. (would currently not be from our plugin).
    12. Add new empty popup with no triggers, publish it with default conditions.
    13. Retest checking for errors on front end.
    14. Open test popup from admin toolbar.
    15. If all works at this point, its something with or in the content of a specific popup.
    16. Publish other popups one at a time, retesting until the issue reappears.
    17. Once the offending popup is found, remote its content to clipboard/notepad and save, retest.
    18. If the issue is gone, the content inside the popup is the cause.?If not then some setting on that popup is in conflict somehow which we need to debug directly.
    ?
    Hope that helps.
