• Hello again ??

I’m having an issue when a visitor opens a popup on an iPhone 6, the background “jumps” to the top of the page and the popup “flickers” (likely because it is trying to re-position itself).

My first thought was that the issue is being caused with the popup URL trigger being set to “#”, but I did account for this and changed those trigger hrefs to “javascript:void(0)”, however, the issue persists.

I can’t replicate the issue on my Galaxy S7 Edge though, which leads me to believe the issue lies in the screen width.

In fact, when we tested it on the iPhone 6 in landscape mode, the jump does not occur. It only seems to happen in portrait mode.

    Thoughts/suggestions?

Hi @edikitt I found the issue before and like you say it only happens on Iphone. But I’m afraid so far I don’t have any solution for it ??
I will give this more time to see if I find any workable solution

Awesome, thanks for looking into it. Any ideas?

I was thinking it might have something to do with the iPhone’s default keyboard behavior. The issue doesn’t occur (at least for me) immediately on popup load, but after the user taps an input field and the keyboard pushes up the content.

I was also thinking that a possible workaround could be to disable background functionality while the popup is visible or setting a fixed position.

It does seem to be something native, as I’ve tried testing it with iPhone emulators and can’t reproduce the behavior.
