https://mosaicchapel.org is my site I’m working on with popup maker and I’ve got the Contact Us menu item in the header linked for the popup and it works great on my desktop in all sizes in Chrome, no worries. Bringing it up on my Iphone 7 no go in Safari or Chrome. I do not have the disable on mobile checkbox set either. I’ve tried both WP Forms and Ninja Forms too. I’ve got it set to size small (i’ve tried several sizes). Am I missing something?

@pvanlierop, @valmikesell – In this case the issue isn’t with the popups or with mobile. Your theme generates a copy of your menu for mobile devices. So on desktop you don’t see the same menu.

The real issue though is that your theme like a few others uses some type of smooth scrolling (usually). But in any case when the menu link begins with # (in this case #popmake-) they apply a JS function on the click event that generally is used to smoothscroll the page, but they also make it so that no other functions can run after theirs. This prevents our JS click event from opening the popup.

You could try this a quick fix, change the link to point to an actual contact page (also helpful in case they don’t have JS enabled & for SEO), then add the popmake-# class via your nav menu editor to that link. See method #2 inthis guide : https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/51-open-a-popup-from-a-wordpress-nav-menu

Since the link won’t start with # their JS shouldn’t run or prevent ours from running.

I will add that in v1.5 we have added an option directly to the menu editor to choose a popup to trigger. This method should work as well and makes the above method #2 guide useless.

    Hope that helps.

Your option 2 setup worked perfectly. Thank you for such top notch tech support, I so appreciate it. I won’t hesitate to add some of the extensions I was looking at for it now! Well done.
