I have issues with the plugin. I want it to open a popup when user click on connexion on the navigation menu. I don’t want the connexion page to open just the popup with the login form. I have tried everything on the documentation but it only works if the page is open too. I have try the css class, the custom link, everything. I just want to open the popup on the link’s menu, can you help me figure out what’s wrong ?

    Thank you,

    Lucile

  • check what you have set up under ‘Targetting’.

I had the same problem – the popup would only open on menu click if it was already on that page and then I realised I had set the Targetting to ONLY enable the pop-up on that page.

Once I removed the Targetting condition, it worked correctly.

Hello ! Unfortunately I tried that but even with no targetting rules it still appears on my home page. I feel like I have tried everything but nothing works ??

Thank you for your help though

@lucilebarrere – I think you have confused triggers with cookies.

Setting a trigger on a menu item to page X doesn’t make it trigger when you get to page x. it makes it trigger any time you click that menu link to page x no matter what page you are on.

Conditions are used to limit when and where a trigger will work or not. Typically you wouldn’t want any conditions on a popup set up to trigger on your main menu items.

So if you want the item to open when they are on Page X, triggering on a link to page x is 100% not the right way to do it. You would instead trigger based on time delay, and use conditions to only let that time delay trigger work on the page in question.
