    I am using divi but have created a gallery page in the classic editor using the shortcode : [gallery type='google' view='albums' filter='AJdF-ZxAU-tndz2sAN6WUSbuf9R-aspIadM773WDTdtgCtN6tW8GUs5GFWvKDHJshRJ_oRF-QCw-,AJdF-ZzA8bv0wtqcfu2snlrF-6MQWqHoTiRgLfqB_pCdN0wpwW2BZtIylha_GDL6j-F5_A3jUGqH,AJdF-ZxifH4HbfWFHzwJ6JasQq_jNzj9aasjTTpbEimUZsCD46SITvsFsVnMRjsuyWadpwFoFsN4' access='all' crop_thumb='no-crop' columns='3' title_position='below' main_size='1600' thumb_size='125' popup='show' layout='square'].
When I click an album the photos display over the top menu to half way down the page. Also, if I click on one of the photos the image displays over the header and I am unable to access the X button at the top. I have inserted the following in the additional css section but this did not resolve it- .photonicModalOverlay {z-index: 1500;}.
The gallery is protected content so please email me if you need the credentials.
Any help much appreciated as I really like this plugin.

I am not seeing any issue on your website.

I accessed your page via a desktop, and clicked on one of the album thumbnails. As expected, that showed me an overlay with all the photos in that album. The “X” was visible and clickable, so I was able to close out the overlay.

I reopened the overlay, then clicked on one of the photos – that showed me the photo in a lightbox, i.e. just the photo came up, with navigation arrows at the bottom and an “x” at the top. At this point, as expected, the first “x” is not seen – the lightbox sits on top of all other content. I was able to close out the lightbox by clicking on the second “x”. That brought me back to the overlay with all the photos in the album, and I was again able to click on the first “x” to close out the overlay.

Was your browser cache refreshed after you made your CSS changes?

Apologies Sayontan – it is working now after cache refresh and also had to remove the toolbar option set in my profile. Thanks for your time and appreciate the help with this great plugin.
