Popup stopped working – is this also WP update related?

    This is the form of the popup:

    [popup id="table"][table id=65 /][/popup]

[popup_trigger id="table"]<a style="color: #de0000;" href="#">2015</a>[/popup_trigger]</td>

    Where [table id=65 /] is the shortcode for a TablePress table.

    On opening the page eg https://carnethy.com/tinto/ the error code in console shows Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .popmake-table, .popmake-, a[href$=”#popmake-table”],

    Theme is Genesis – Eleven40 Pro, however I can’t find any .js there that relates to the solutions proposed in other threads. Even if I could find it I lack the resources to stay on top of obscure bugs.

    The jQuery version appears to be v1.12.4
