Popup strange behavior

Hi @dwenaus , @boonebgorges , @r-a-y and thanks for this useful plugin.

It seems that there is a small bug with the popup on the groups pages (All Groups and My Groups; NOT on a single group page) It opens automatically and gets blocked in these situations:

1. You open the popup, you close it and you reopen it. Then it gets blocked and you cannot close it.
2. You change tab. You are on All Groups and go to My Groups (or inversely). It opens automatically and you cannot close it. That happens independently of having opened it or not before.

Any idea about why that happens?

PS I tested a workaround temporarily, that is hiding the popup and the word “change” with css and now it looks like this: No mail ()
I couldnot hide the brackets.
