Popup Targeting Not Workling

    Hello,

    We are trying to launch a pop-up on ABWE.org, but the targeting parameters are not working. I’ve attempted several sets of conditions, including (1) pop-up appearing on homepage only, (2) pop-up set not to appear on certain page template types, and (3) specific pages excluded from the pop-up. The pop-up persists on every page regardless of what I do. Further, the version of the pop-up that’s appearing on pages that should be excluded according to my conditions is an older version (2-3 revisions ago).

    Thinking it might have been a caching issue, I also cleared the server cache in WP Engine. No change.

    Please assist!

    Hi @akocman,

    Sorry to hear you encountered issues with targeting. Your description sounds like it could really be a caching issue.

    We looked at your site and saw that you have WP Optimize as a caching plugin. Could you check if “Enable merging of JavaScript files” in “WP-Optimize” > “Minify” > “JavaScript” tab > “JavaScript options,” is enabled?

    If yes, try to disable it and then clear the cache again.

    If the issue persists, please send us a message via Support Request – Popup Maker so we can take a closer look.
