    Hi! Congratulations for this amazing plugin. I happily found it a couple of years ago and until now, I had no problems using it. Big fan of Backup Guard!

    Today, after updating to 1.2.0, I’ve noticed that when you click on the green “Backup” button, the bottom spinner appears, the scroll bar on the side of the window disappears (as if the popup option window would appear, as supposed to be), but then, no popup window appears, and therefore I’m unable to create manual backups of my site. Running on WordPress 5.3 and PHP 7.1.

    I’ve noticed this issue on every site I have it installed. Tried to flush cache, cleared cookies, etc, but no response. Am I the only one experiencing this? Any ideas? Thank you!

    Dear @codimex,

    Thank you for your kind words!
    Seems our JS changes have not been applied on your side.
    Please, try to backup via an Incognito (private) window, or try to do the backup via another browser.
    If that doesn’t help either, please, deactivate/reactivate the plugin.
    If this doesn’t help too, please, uninstall the plugin and reinstall it.
    Please, let us know about the results.
    If you still have problems, open your Console log and see if there are any JS errors there.

    Thanks for suggestions.
    Issue seems to bo connected with Chrome browser. Once I’ve switched to Firefox backups was available. However on Chrome I can’t even deactivate/uninstall a plugin because all ajax call returns 403

    Hi! You’re right. Manual backups work perfectly via incognito mode, at least on Firefox (will try to do it later on Chrome). ?? It’s strange that I flushed cache yesterday and didn’t work. The problem seems fixed for me. Feel free to mark this as resolved. Thank you and keep up with the good job! ??
