    Even when I put a popup into draft or pending mode it still seems to be embedded in the HTML source code.

    	<div class="pum-content popmake-content">
    			<p><iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/453417971?dnt=1&app_id=122963" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
    		</div>	            <button type="button" class="pum-close popmake-close" aria-label="Close">
    			×            </button>

    	</div>

    The above code is embedded in every page but the popup status is draft.
    Deleted all cache for the site and removed the JS and CSS in /uploads/pum

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @developerwil – thanks for writing in and sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.

    I viewed your site and may I ask, are you referring to this popup here? https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuZbvNK? If yes, then upon inspecting, it seems this popup was created using a different service and not our plugin as seen here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KuLKQGE

    If my understanding of the problem is not correct, could you send us a screenshot or screen recording of what exactly you are referring to? This way, we can understand it better and we can assist you further.

    Let us know.

    @developerwil – Will add to what @mariatogonon said.

    If the popup is unpublished, deleted or our plugin is deactivated and you still see our popups html in the page, there is only a few possiblities:

    1. Your site uses caching that didn’t get purged already.
    2. Something else is forcing the plugin active again, filters or such. Very unlikely that is happening without your knowledge.

    I’m betting #1. There have been dozens if not a 100 reports similar to yours over the past 5+ years, 0 of them turned out to be anything beyond caching as the plugin’s rendering mechanism is solidly tied to published status & targeting rules which hasn’t changed much since v1 so its extremely reliable code.

    If its not published, we don’t even get it back from our DB query to be able to render it’s html.

    Hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin or support.

    If you still need help please message us directly at https://wppopupmaker.com/support/.

    False positive – it was a caching issue with Siteground.

    Sorry to bother you and thanks for the quick response!
