Popups are not working when Execute merged javascript files asynchronously on.

    Hello,

    I am using multiple popups on website. And also using swift performance cache plugin. This plugin has option Execute merged javascript files asynchronously when this option switched on popups stop working.
    But switching off this option reduce the website performance drastically and scores very bad.
    I contacted swift plugin author he just advised to switch off the Async Execute. But this is not the solution.
    Is there any option to work popups with this JS async execute?

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having this trouble on your site. I tested swift performance and enabled the merged javascript files, but the popup works on my end. Could you please exclude /wp-content/uploads/pum/pum-site-scripts.js under the optimization tab of swift performance?

    Hello Bel,

    It didn’t help.
    Popups are working when enabled the merged javascript files but they are not working when Async Execute option is enabled. Both are two different things i guess.
    I checked in the console. Got jQuery is not defined error in pum-site-scripts.js.
