Popups don’t work on PluginOps Landing Page

    Hello! I would like to be able to set up a popup on a landing page I’ve made on my site utilizing the PluginOps Landing Page builder, I want this popup to be triggered upon clicking a button that uses your HTML tag to activate the popup. I have successfully been able to trigger this popup on standard pages, and I was formerly able to trigger the popup on the landing page though this inexplicably changed one day. Any ideas what might be causing this and what steps I need to take to resolve it? Thanks!

  • Hi @steckscout – we are sorry to hear that.

    May I ask, what other updates have you made prior to this happening? Have you installed any third-party plugin? Like, a caching plugin, maybe? Or, did you switch your theme?

    Now, could you please try to disable asset caching under your Popup Maker > Settings > Misc and check it again if that helps you solve the problem? You can also check out this demo screencast to make it more clear for you: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2NuyW0qE

    Thanks for your reply.

    Unfortunately so many changes were made between the last time the popup worked and when I noticed it had stopped that it’s simply impossible to pinpoint.

    I went ahead and disabled asset caching, and I’m not seeing any immediate change.

    I checked the URL you have provided. However, it seems the landing page is not public to view, and it redirects to a 404 page. Kindly please check the landing page and set it to public.

    Please could you try the debugging process on this link to isolate the issue – Test if a Plugin or Theme Interferes with Popup Maker
